Financial and Accounting Disclaimer
Last updated: 17 June 2026
1. About this disclaimer
This Financial and Accounting Disclaimer applies to your use of the Finansee website at finansee.lt and the Finansee IFRS 16 calculator and related finance tools. It explains what Finansee is, what it is not, and what responsibilities remain with you when you use it.
Please read this disclaimer alongside the Finansee Terms of Use and the Finansee Privacy Policy. Together they form the framework for your use of Finansee.
By "Finansee," "we," "us" or "our," we mean MB RGD solutions, a Lithuanian small partnership (mažoji bendrija), legal entity code 308006606, operating the Finansee service under the Finansee name.
2. No professional advice
Finansee is a calculation and workflow support tool. It is designed to help finance, accounting, audit, tax and treasury professionals work with IFRS 16 lease portfolios, perform IFRS 16 calculations, and export reports.
Finansee does not provide:
- accounting advice;
- audit services or audit opinions;
- tax advice;
- legal advice;
- investment advice; or
- any other professional or regulated advice.
Nothing produced by Finansee — including but not limited to calculation outputs, journal entries, reporting tables and Excel exports — constitutes professional advice, an audit opinion, or a regulatory filing. Your relationship with Finansee is a relationship with a software service, not with an accountant, auditor, tax adviser, lawyer or investment professional.
3. User responsibility for inputs and assumptions
Finansee operates on the data and assumptions you enter. The accuracy, completeness and reasonableness of any output therefore depends entirely on the accuracy, completeness and reasonableness of the inputs and assumptions you provide.
You are responsible for:
- the accuracy and completeness of every lease, payment schedule, modification, termination and reporting period you enter;
- the accuracy of company names, asset classes, currencies and other identifying information;
- the selection of discount rates or incremental borrowing rates you use in your calculations;
- the accounting judgements you apply to your lease portfolio, including but not limited to lease identification, lease classification, lease term assessment, options and modifications;
- the application of your organisation's accounting policies; and
- the use you make of any output Finansee generates from your inputs.
If your inputs or assumptions change, your outputs may change. Finansee does not validate the inputs you choose to enter and does not independently verify the underlying facts.
4. IFRS 16 calculation limitations
Finansee performs IFRS 16 calculations based on the information and assumptions you enter. It is not a substitute for professional judgement about how IFRS 16 should be applied to your facts, and there are specific limits to what Finansee does and does not do.
In particular, Finansee does not:
- determine whether a contract is or is not a lease within the meaning of IFRS 16;
- determine the correct discount rate or incremental borrowing rate for any lease;
- assess whether your accounting policies are appropriate or correctly applied;
- evaluate the reasonableness of management estimates, judgements or assumptions;
- form an independent view on lease classification, modifications, terminations, reassessments, impairment, hedging, transition options, or other IFRS 16 judgement areas; or
- replace the role of a qualified accountant or auditor.
Finansee may also have technical limitations or unsupported fact patterns. The service may not handle every possible IFRS 16 scenario, and the underlying logic, screens and exports may be updated, improved or changed over time. If your situation is unusual or material, you should review it with a qualified professional before relying on any output.
5. Excel exports and reports
Excel exports and other reports generated by Finansee — for example journal entries, portfolio summaries and lease-event registers — are working files based on the data and assumptions you have entered.
Excel exports and reports are not:
- official financial statements;
- audited financial information;
- statutory or regulatory filings; or
- statements of opinion from Finansee on the correctness of your accounting treatment.
You are responsible for what you do with any export — including how you store it, who you share it with, and whether you use it as a working input for your own financial reporting process. We strongly encourage you to keep your own records of the inputs and assumptions that produced each export.
6. No guarantee of outcomes
Finansee does not guarantee, warrant or represent that:
- the service is compliant with IFRS 16 or any other accounting standard as applied to your particular facts;
- any calculation output is free of errors;
- any output will be accepted by your auditor, your tax authority, your regulator or any other third party;
- any output will produce a particular tax treatment or regulatory outcome;
- the service is suitable for any specific purpose; or
- the service is fit for any specific financial reporting framework other than as a calculation and workflow support tool.
Finansee may contain errors, limitations and unsupported fact patterns. You use Finansee at your own risk, and your reliance on any output is your responsibility.
7. Changes to calculation logic
We may update, change or improve the calculation logic, screens, exports, defaults and other aspects of the service over time — for example to reflect product improvements, fixes, performance changes, or our understanding of how the tool is used.
A change to the calculation logic in a later version of Finansee may produce different outputs from a calculation you ran in an earlier version. If you rely on a Finansee output, we encourage you to keep your own records of the inputs, assumptions and version of the service that produced it.
8. Professional review recommended
Before using any Finansee output for financial reporting, audit, tax, regulatory or other consequential purposes, you should review that output with one or more qualified professionals — for example your finance team, your external accountant, your auditor, your tax adviser, or, where appropriate, your legal counsel.
In particular, you should not rely on Finansee as the sole basis for any:
- financial statement;
- audit conclusion;
- tax filing;
- regulatory filing;
- investment decision;
- management decision; or
- public disclosure.
Finansee is one input into your work. It is not a substitute for your own review, your accounting judgement, or the judgement of the professionals who advise you.
9. Relationship with Terms of Use
This disclaimer forms part of the framework that governs your use of Finansee. It should be read together with the Finansee Terms of Use and the Finansee Privacy Policy.
If there is any inconsistency between this disclaimer and a separate written agreement that you have signed with Finansee (for example a Subscription Agreement or other commercial contract), the terms of that signed agreement will apply between you and Finansee.
We may update this disclaimer from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the most recent changes were made. Where the changes are material, we will provide additional notice before they take effect.
